Dept 56 THE FIRST HEINZ FACTORY The Cornerstone of our Legacy 5710 Profiles
The Profiles Collections were created by Department 56 for various large corporations that wanted something specially designed for them and produced in a very limited quantity exclusively for that company. This particular piece was the fourth of five produced for The H.J. Heinz Company, and was sold by Heinz to their shareholders. The only way to obtain one was to either own stock in Heinz, or to acquire it on the secondary market.
This piece is missing one bird on the roof and doesn't have the book that went to the shareholders. It does have the winch in the back of the house that plugs in (see pictures) that most don't have. Other than missing bird, this is in mint condition.
