The Craft a Brew Stainless Steel Hop Spider helps contain hops during brewing to reduce sediment and improve wort clarity. Designed to hang inside larger brew kettles, this stainless steel filter basket allows hop pellets or whole cone hops to fully infuse while helping keep hop debris out of the kettle.
The removable hop spider features a double handle design that helps stabilize the basket during the boil. By containing hop material during brewing, the filter basket can help reduce sediment transferred into the fermenter, supporting clearer finished beer and easier cleanup on brew day.
Made from 304 stainless steel, this reusable brewing accessory is best suited for use with 5 gallon brew kettles or larger. The hop spider should remain 1–2 inches above the bottom of the kettle during use and is not recommended for small or shallow brew pots.
